2016

Jan. 13th Water Street Books, 125 Water Street Exeter, NH with Nancy Jean Hill

Feb. 29th:  I will be one of the Poetry Out Loud judges for the semi-finals.  Always very exciting!  This year I’ll be at the NH Institute of Art in the French Auditorium.  6:30 PM.  Join us!

March 6th:  3 PM at Del Rossis’ Trattoria  in Dublin NH –  Route 137 N.

March 31st: April Fools Reading at the Teti Library in Manchester at NHIA.   This is a student juried reading which is so much fun!  Join us at 4:30 at the Teti to support the students and hear some very good poetry.

April 13TH 6 PM at Water Street Bookstore 125 Water Street Exeter, NH.   I will be reading with the following poets: Join us!

April 1st 4PM: Join the students at the New Hampshire Institute of Art celebrating National Poetry Month.  Teti Library, 156 Hanover Street Manchester, NH. 3 student featured readers and an open mic!

April 11th 6:30 PM: Portsmouth Book & Bar, 40 Pleasant St. Portsmouth, NH. Double Book Launch for So This Is What It Has Come To and  Jessica Purdy with her new Learning the Names.  Music provided by James Rioux, Seth Gooby, Al Peterson, and Tommy and the Rats!

April 13th 7 PM: RiverWoods in Exeter.  Not open to the public.

April 30th: I will be going to the Mass Poetry Festival – Merwin is reading!  You Should Go Too!

August 23rd: Retro Book Launch with Nancy Jean Hill

S Stephanie and Nancy Jean Hill invite you to a Retro Re-Release Book Launch! Their chapbooks Beryllium and What The News Seemed to Say (formally published by Pudding House Press) have been released by Igneus Press! Join us for an evening of Readings, Music by Deidre Randall, Bob Halprin, and Dawn Boyer of Rock My Soul. A special presentation by The City Hall Poets of their Circle Performance, and Artworks by Dover Artist/Poet Kate Knox and Maine Artist/Poet Wayne Atherton at the amazing Portsmouth Book and Bar.

Sept. 16th (time to be announced), Finishing Line Press Reading at Gibson’s Bookstore, 45 S Main Street Concord, NH  with Kathy Solomon (Transit of Venus) and Jessica Purdy (Learning The Names).

Sept.19th: NH Poetry Fest! I will be giving a workshop with Mimi White, Jessica Purdy, Wayne Atherton, and Kate Knox.  This is a workshop on a collaborative Ekphrastic show six artists and poets participated in last year.  Our experience working together and what we learned about ekphrasis….

Sept 26th: 100,000 Poets and Musicians for Change:   Exeter, NH: venue TBA by Bob Moore… Stay tuned… I will be performing the poem “America” by Allen Ginsberg with Jenny Riddle.

Oct. 9-11: Harwich House Poetry Workshop with Jessica Purdy at the Cape!  30 Bank St. Harwich Port MA.

October 18th: Dead Poets Remembrance reading at Toadstool Books in Keene NH! James Duffy and Bill Doreski will be reading!

 

 

2014

July 25th  6:30 – 8:30 PM:  The Wickford Art Association, 36 Beach Street, Wickford, RI . More info at www.wickfordart.org.  My poem On this side will be part of an ekphrastic show there in print and in audio from 7/25 – 8/17.

July 26th  11 AM:  Poetry Society of NH reading at Manchester City Library, 405 Pine Street Manchester, NH
